Work your mind for weight loss


We at Mind Body Weight Loss have always believed that if you work deal with your mind first you will not lose weight quicker but you will also keep the weight off. Arnold Schwarzenegger is so right with his quote and belief:

"The mind always fails first, not the body. The secret is to make your mind work for you, not against you."

Weight Loss Change

This is what I am on about, challenge, what ever challenge we have in life when come through the other side we are generally a strong, better person.

You can't spell challenge without change .
If you're going to rise to the challenge, you have to be prepared to change.
This reminds me of the Anthony Robbins quote:

"If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. "

A Diet Is Just For Christmas Not For Life


With Christmas and the New Year coming up very fast most of us will be thinking about losing weight and getting healthy, you could call it a New Year resolution.

So why do so many make this promise to yourselves that they are going to lose weight and keep it off, however week or a month you are back to the same habits.

You see the first thing we think about when we want lose is go on a diet. This is the biggest factor in why you will put it back on. 90-95% of people that go on a diet will put it all back on, I will say that again 90-95%WILL PUT IT ALL BACK ON. Now do I have you attention! Good!

The reason dieting does not work is YOU are unique, there is not another YOU.

So why should a dieting work when it is not made for YOU.

To lose weight and keep it off for ever is to find out WHY you put on weight in the first place. Find out what beliefs are stopping you keeping the weight off and remove them. We have so much information to help you on this very blog to help you.

Make That Change

This quote is really quite empowering because it tells us that we have the power to make any changes we wish to improve our look.
"If you keep doing what you've always been doing
You're going to keep looking how you been looking"
 It also reminds me of lines from the Michael Jackson 'Man in the Mirror' song:

"I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . ."
and
"I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways
And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change"
By taking the responsibility to change youself for the better you also make the world as a whole better too, because if you are happier with yourself the world as a whole is a happier place too. This is how much power we each have as individuals. So make that change!

Start Where You Are

This post is similar to the theme of yesterdays in that just control, do and use what you can to make your weight loss method as effective as possible. The quote suggests:
Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Do what you want.
So lets break this down line by line:

Start where you are - means to me that in this moment right now with everything the way it is the best time to start losing weight and taking control of your life is definitely now.

Use what you have - translates as find your strength and working them to get the best outcomes, it could also mean getting the most out your knowledge, support groups, shop and food.

Do what you can - With the knowledge you have what can you do to make this happen with full desire, belief and expectancy it is going to happen. This is your life, You are in Control. This is so empowering you may see you life as story book unfolding before you. You may not like the story upto now, but the great thing about this story and indeed you life is that you decide how it unfolds. You can change each and every part of it from this moment on, including your weight loss. So lets read the quote again:

"Ctrl your portions and hunger
Alt your lifestyle and choices
Del Junk food and bad vibe"

So if you follow the weight loss advice in the above quote how do you think you story will change and unfold?

Weight Loss Motivation - Change

This is quote helps demonstrate the point that most people take action and decide that their weight loss has to happen, with Desire, Belief and Expectancy as mentioned by Jose Silva, when the pain of not changing is greater than any pain perceived in the actual change itself.

''Change happens when the pain of staying the same is great than the pain of change."
 It really made me think and I can actually say any bug changes I have got to that point and just gone for it! It has always paid off too.
